Our 4th Annual Golf for Hospice Tournament was held on September 20th, 2018 at Lakeridge Links Golf Course. Thanks to the exceptional generosity of our players and sponsors, as well as the enthusiastic efforts of our volunteer team, this year’s event was another resounding success, raising over $120,000 for our “Building for Compassionate Care” capital campaign.

The day’s highlights included a hearty BBQ lunch before teeing off for a fun filled round of golf with family & friends. Post game entertainment included a cocktail reception & dinner where guests were treated to a phenomenal performance by Glenn Healy and The Highland Creek Pipe Band.

Special guest speaker, Anthony Lue, shared his inspirational story of how a tragic workplace accident that left him a paraplegic led him to pursue new dreams as a Paralympic athlete and motivational speaker through the power of positive thinking and perseverance.

Incredibly, since our inaugural tournament in 2015, the combined proceeds of this annual event have contributed over $500,000 toward our campaign goal! Sincere thanks to all our Golf for Hospice supporters who helped us achieve this incredible milestone!
