Stephen Gray - Board Chair
Stephen Gray brings 20 years of experience in senior management to the ORH Board of Directors. He is currently the CEO of Medical Associates of Port Perry/North Durham FHT/North Durham Health Centre, a practice of 40 physicians and 24 allied health providers. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and completed his professional designation in 2000. Stephen is also currently a Steering Table member of the Durham Ontario Health Team and Co-Chair of the Durham Region COVID Response Table.
Ann Burkholder - Treasurer
Ann Burkholder is a retired technology professional with over 40 years of experience in senior management roles. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a B.Math in Computer Science and has an MBA from Boston University Brussels. A passionate believer in the value and need for hospice care, she has been a volunteer in the area for over 20 years, including being a former board member and past president of Evergreen Hospice. Living in Uxbridge for over 8 years, she is looking forward to working at Oak Ridges Hospice.
Michael Stewart - Director
Michael Stewart is an IIROC licensed financial advisor, with CFP designation, serving Durham region from his Edward Jones office in Port Perry. He has served on the boards of the Rotary Club of Port Perry, The Lions Club of Uxbridge and has a history of working with families with special needs. He graduated with a BA in Economics from the University of Toronto. He is passionate and proud about serving our community.
Drew Gadsden - Director
Drew Gadsden is an accomplished professional with over 36 years of service at Bell Canada. Throughout his tenure, Drew has held numerous management roles across Operations, Human Resources, and Project Management. Notably, he served as the Management Co-chair of the Health and Safety Committee for more than 20 years. Drew holds a PMP certification from York University (Schulich) and a Business Management diploma from Centennial College. Originally from Pickering, Drew now resides in Whitby with his wife and step daughter.
Lindsay Healey - Director
Lindsay Healey’s dedication to Oak Ridges Hospice began in 2016 with her involvement in the Capital Campaign to raise funds to help build the Morgan & Sidhu House. Since then, she has made significant contributions as a volunteer, serving on the initial operations committee, launching the kitchen during the hospice’s first year, and assisting as a current volunteer in both the kitchen and at the reception desk. Among her various roles, Lindsay finds the greatest fulfillment as Chair of the Hike for Hospice Committee, the organization’s largest annual fundraising event, which has raised over $500,000 in just seven years. Now, as a member of the Board, Lindsay is excited to leverage her extensive knowledge of Oak Ridges Hospice and her prior Board experience to further the organization’s mission. Lindsay is a recipient of the 2024 June Collingwood Award which honours exceptional hospice volunteers in Ontario.
